Yonko Georgiev, MD is an abdominal surgeon at the Surgery Clinic of the Heart and Brain Center of Excellence in Burgas. His clinical interests include minimally invasive and robotic surgery and surgical treatment of patients with oncological diseases. He is a member of the Bulgarian Surgical Society and the European Society of Coloproctology. He is a reviewer of the Central European Journal of Medicine and an editor of Advances in Surgical Sciences.

Dr. Georgiev has a number of publications in specialized surgical journals at home and abroad, as well as participation in scientific forums.
