Velimir Simov, MD graduated in medicine at the Higher Medical Institute – Pleven in 1995. He has specialties in pediatrics since 2003 and neonatology since 2008. In 2011 he successfully defended his Master’s degree in “Health Management” at D. А. Svishtov

Dr. Simov has over 20 years of experience as a physician. For 15 years he has worked in the Department for premature babies in the NICU – Pleven. In 2011 he became part of the team of the First Hospital – Sofia, head of the Department of Neonatology. Proven professional in the field of intensive and post-intensive care for newborns with increased risk, born with low and extremely low birth weight.

He actively works with various NGOs, psychologists and parents to improve the care of premature babies.

Dr. Simov has been part of the Pediatrics Clinic since 2023.
