Ivanka Adova, MD graduated medicine at the Medical University of Plovdiv in 1993. She started professional career as an anesthesiologist-resuscitator in the Surgical department and General anesthesia at Devin Municipal Hospital.
In 2004 acquired a specialty in anesthesiology and intensive care at the Medical University of Sofia.
Since 2002 she has been working at the Cardiac Surgery Clinic at St. George University Hospital in Plovdiv.
She is Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation in the period between 2012-2019 – St. George University Hospital in Plovdiv.
She has a huge experience in the field of cardioanesthesia and cardiac resuscitation in the whole spectrum of cardiac surgery.
