Asya Slaveykova-Stefanova, MD graduated in medicine at the Medical University – Sofia in 1982.
He began his professional career as a district pediatrician in the District Hospital, Sofia, in 1991. He started his career as a general practitioner in Kyustendil in 1982. From 1986 he was a member of the team of the National Cardiological Hospital – Sofia as a paediatrician, later he was a resident in the Clinic of Children’s Diseases.

Her scientific interests are in the field of intensive care, pulmonology, outpatient pediatrics. She has repeatedly participated in conferences and congresses and has co-authored a number of medical publications.
