Diana Georgieva, MD graduated in medicine in 2002 at Trakia University – Stara Zagora. In 2013 she obtained a degree in Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases. In 2020 she acquired a specialty in Clinical Microbiology. In the same year she was enrolled as a full-time PhD student at MU – Pleven. “Studies on the species composition and susceptibility to antimycotic agents of clinical isolates of the genus Candida”. Professor at the Department of Microbiology and Virology, MU-Pleven, English-speaking training.
From 2003 to 2014 she worked at the Regional Health Inspectorate – Pleven.
From 2015 to 2022 she worked as a microbiologist at the University Hospital “Dr. G. She worked as a microbiologist at the “Stranski” University in Pleven,

Since January 2023 she has been part of the microbiology laboratory team at the Heart and Brain Hospital.
