Viktoria Metodieva Ivanova-Petkova, MD graduated in medicine from the Medical Academy – Sofia in 1990. After clinical residency in 1992 at the Department of Pediatrics of the Medical University – Sofia, in February 1996 she acquired the specialty “Children’s Diseases”. She started working in the Intensive Pediatric Unit of the Infectious Diseases Hospital. Since July 1998 she has been working at the Clinic of Neonatology of the Hospital “Maichin Dom”, Sofia. After specialization since May 2006 she has also a specialty in neonatology.

From 2019 to 2023 she is working in the Intensive Care Unit of the Department of Pediatrics at the National Cardiology Hospital, Sofia.

She has numerous participation in congresses and scientific forums, and medical publications.

Since April 2023 she is part of the team of the Department of Neonatology of ‘Mom and Me’.
