Toni Statelov, MD is a urologist with over 15 years of medical experience. He graduated with honours from the Varna Medical University in 2001 and then studied for 3 years at Southwark College London, UK. In 2005 he specialized in Vascular Surgery at Hadassah Ein Karem Clinic, Jerusalem, Israel and in 2016 in Laparoscopic Oncosurgery at Uluda Medical University, Bursa, Turkey. For 16 years he has been part of the Urology Clinic team at the  St. Anna university hospital in Varna.

His professional interests are in the field of oncourology, laparoscopic, mini invasive, laser and robotic surgery. He performs diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the genitourinary system. He practices laser prostate surgery as well as laparoscopic surgery for kidney and prostate diseases. He has undergone numerous advanced training courses including laparoscopy and endourology in Patras, Greece, onco and reconstructive urology in Mansoura, Egypt, etc. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Russian.

Since January 2022, Dr. Statelov is the head of the Urology Department at the Heart and Brain Center of Excellence in Burgas.
