Svetlana Nyagolova, MD is part of the Heart and Brain Center of Clinical Excellence since 2017. She graduated from the Medical University in Pleven in 1985. She worked as radiologist in the Medical Academy of Sofia. She specialized in Healthcare management at SA “D.A.Cenov” Svishtov.

Dr Nyagolova is a specialist in all fields of radiology – conventional radiology, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, ultrasound of abdomen and vascular Doppler, examinations of superficial structures, transrectal and transfontanellar echography and holds multiple Bulgarian and international certificates. She is fluent in English, Russian, Arabian and Spanish.

1985-1986 worked in Regional transport hospital G. Oriahovica; 1986 worked as an assistant in “Radiology” department at MU Pleven; 1993-1996 a senior assistant in “Radiology” department at MU Pleven; 1995-2001 worked in MBAL at Healthcare Department in Kuwait; 2001-2003 head of the “Imaging Diagnostic” Department in DKC Pleven; 2003-2005 head of  “Magnetic resonance” department at Radiology center in MBAL Pleven; 2005-2007 head department Imaging diagnostic with magnetic resonance tomography in UMBAL Pleven and honored assistant in MU Pleven; 2007-2008 “Magnetic resonance” head at “Imaging diagnostic” department; 2008-2015 a medical director of “AFIDEA Bulgaria MDL” Pleven.

She participated in several Bulgarian and international publications. Former or active member of the Bulgarian Association of Radiology, European Association of Radiology, Kuwait Medical association, RSNA – North America Radiology Association.
