Milena Peruhova, MD graduated from the Medical University, Sofia in 2008. Dr. Peruhova specialized in gastroenterology under the supervision of Prof. Katsarov.

Dr. Peruhova has worked as a gastroenterologist in the Gastroenterology Clinic at the SofiaMed University Hospital and in the Oncology Center of the University Hospital Ajibadem City Clinic. In 2017, she became part of the Lozenets University Hospital team, holding the position of Head of the Internal Medicine Clinic.

Dr. Perukhova routinely performs upper endoscopy, lower endoscopy, percutaneous interventions under ultrasound control, as well as conventional and Doppler ultrasonography. She is experienced in the treatment and follow-up of patients after liver transplantation. She was a lecturer at the Medical Faculty of the Sofia University.

Since 2022 she has been part of the Heart and Brain Center of Excellence’s team in Burgas.
