Georgi Ivanov, MD graduated from Medical University – Sofia in 2016 with full honors, as the first prize winner of the graduating class and the Golden Hippocrates prize.

From June 2016 to May 2023 he worked at the Urology Clinic of the University Hospital “Alexandrovska”, Sofia. She graduated from the University of Alexandrovska in Sofia in the first year of her studies. He obtained his specialty in Urology in December 2021.

From 2020 to 2023 he is an assistant professor of urology at the Medical University of Sofia. In April 2023, he successfully obtained the degree of Doctor of Medicine after successful defense of his thesis on “Laparoscopic surgery of prostate cancer”.

Dr. Georgi Ivanov has a number of specializations in Bulgaria and abroad, participation in scientific forums and congresses. His scientific interests include tumor diseases of the kidney, bladder and prostate, urolithiasis (kidney stone disease), and andrology.

Since May 2023, Dr. Ivanov has been part of the team of the Department of Urology at the Heart and Brain Hospital in Pleven.
