Yuliana Hristova, MD graduated from the Medical University of Varna in 2021. She underwent a number of trainings in the field of minimally invasive thoracic surgery with world-leading specialists in the field such as Prof. Diego Gonzalez-Rivas and Prof. Tomas Shtupnik.
Dr. Hristova’s main professional and scientific interest is minimally invasive thoracic surgery – VATS, UVATS, RATS, mediastinoscopy and interventional bronchoscopy. In 2023 she completed the Breast Cancer Course of the Bulgarian Breast Cancer Association to improve the methods of treatment and diagnosis of breast cancer. She speaks English, Russian and Korean.
Dr. Hristova has been a part of the Department of Thoracic Surgery of “Heart and Brain” Burgas since april 2022.
