Velislava Hafuzova, MD graduated from MU – Sofia in 2000 and specialized in obstetrics and gynecology. She specialized in fetal medicine at Utrecht University, Netherlands. She joined the team of Mama and Me in 2025.

Dr. Hafuzova practices in all areas of her specialty – open and minimally invasive gynecological surgery (laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, laser surgery), oncogynecology and urogynecology, aesthetic surgery in gynecology, pediatric gynecology, modern methods and diagnostics in the treatment of endometriosis, modern methods in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases, obstetrics – physiological and operative delivery, pregnancy pathology, pathological and physiological puerperium, fetal medicine – antenatal diagnosis and fetal morphology, endocrinology and infertility – diagnosis, treatment, and in vitro fertilization.

She has professional qualifications and legal capacity in the field of diagnostic and operative laparoscopy in gynecology, diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, colposcopy, 3D/4D ultrasound and Doppler diagnostics, management of an in vitro fertilization (IVF) laboratory.

She is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Bulgarian Association of Minimally Invasive Surgery (BAIMS), the European Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ESGO), the European Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy (ESGE), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF), and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).

She speaks English, German, and Russian.
