Valentin Velikov, MD graduated from the Medical University of Pleven in 1999, acquired the specialty “General Surgery” in 2006, specialty “Vascular Surgery” in 2013.
Participated as co-author in a number of scientific publications. She has participated in numerous clinical trials. He has international experience from his work at the University Hospital of Bern, Switzerland and Bologna, Italy.

In the period 1999-2001 he worked at the Shumen University Hospital, Medical University Pleven as an assistant in surgery, between 2008-2016 he was an assistant physician in vascular surgery at the Georgi Stranski University Hospital – Sofia. In 2016-2017 he was a vascular surgeon at the Medical University of Stranski Medical University in Pleven.

Works as vascular surgeon in the Cardiology Hospital Pleven since 2016 and is part of the team of the Vascular Surgery Clinic in HEART AND BRAIN Center of Clinical Excellence and since 2017.
