Rumen Chernev, MD graduated in medicine from the Medical University of Sofia in 1999.

He has a recognized specialty in orthopedics and traumatology and diplomas in highly specialized medical activities—endoprosthetics and arthroscopy of joints, issued by the Medical University of Sofia.

His clinical interests are focused on traumatology and endoprosthetics.

Since April 2025, he has been part of the orthopedics and traumatology clinic at the Heart and Brain Hospital in Pleven.
