Plamen Penchev, MD graduated in medicine from the Medical University of Varna in 2001. He started working at the Ivan Seliminski Hospital in Sliven, and from 2003 to 2013 after winning a competition he worked at the University Hospital “St. Marina” Varna successively in the Clinic of Internal Medicine and in the Clinic of Cardiology. In the period 2003-2004 he taught as an assistant professor at the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Diseases, Medical University – Varna, and from 2007 to 2013 he was an assistant professor at the Department of Internal Diseases, UNS of Cardiology. He obtained a specialty in Cardiology in 2012 and in 2013 – certificates of professional qualification in Invasive Cardiology and Echocardiography. In the period 2014 – 2019 she worked as an invasive cardiologist at the Deva Maria Hospital Burgas.
Since October 2019 he is part of the team of the ‘Heart and Brain’ Hospital Burgas.
