Nikolay Ivanov, MD graduated with honors in medicine in 2014 from the Medical University of Pleven. He obtained a specialty in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2020 from the Medical University of Sofia. In 2025, he obtained a specialization in Health Management.

He has completed a number of courses, including the AO Trauma course of Fractures, AO Recon Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty.

His professional interests are in the field of large joint replacement, traumatology, sports traumatology, arthroscopic surgery, and the treatment of gait deformities.

He is a member of BOTA and AO.

Since April 2025, he has been part of the orthopedics and traumatology clinic at the Heart and Brain Hospital in Pleven.
