Konstantin Totev, MD graduated in medicine at Medical University – Pleven in 2004. Board certified as Orthopedic surgeon in 2010. Until the middle of 2021 he worked in Clinic of Orthopedics and Traumatology at University Hospital “Dr. Georgi Stranski” – Pleven, as well as as a senior assistant professor at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Medical University – Pleven. In 2017, he defenses a PhD thesis on the topic of proximal humerus fractures at Medical University – Sofia. He has specialized in Israel, Switzerland and Germany. He has certificates for hip and knee arthroplasty, as well as for hand surgery. Dr. Totev has participated in many qualification courses in the country and abroad. He is author and co-author of thirteen articles in scientific journals, co-author of a textbook on surgical care.
Dr. Totev’s professional interests are related to traumatic and degenerative diseases of the upper and lower limb, soft tissue pathology and arthroplasty of the large joints. He is a member of Bulgarian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, European Federation of Orthopedics and Traumatology and AO Trauma – Bulgaria.
