Iskren Gerasimov, MD graduated from the Medical University of Pleven in 2006. He specialized in Anatomy, Cytology and Histology and later in Orthopedics and Traumatology. From 2013 to 2021 he worked at the Clinic of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the University Hospital “Dr. G. Strandski” in Pleven. His clinical interests are in the field of traumatology, large joint arthroplasty and arthroscopic surgery.

Dr. Gerasimov has held numerous courses in “Orthopedics and Traumatology” in Croatia, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey and Bulgaria, as well as a two-month specialization in Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel. He is a member of AO Trauma, EFORT, ESSKA, BOTA, BAD.

Since 2021 he is part of the Heart and Brain team in Pleven.
