Desislava Kiporova, MD, graduated with honors from the Medical University of Pleven in 2014 and obtained her specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2019. She holds the educational and scientific degree “Doctor of Medicine,” having defended a doctoral dissertation entitled “Robotic Hysterectomy in Endometrial Carcinoma.” She is a certified console surgeon on the da Vinci Xi robotic system in Vienna, Austria. She has completed numerous specialized training courses in laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and robotic surgery, including certification in endoscopic surgery through ESGE – GESEA Level 1 and Level 2.

Her professional expertise includes minimally invasive gynecologic surgery for both benign and malignant conditions. She is also actively engaged in the field of reproductive medicine, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of couples with reproductive challenges. In 2026, she completed an international masterclass in Avellino, Italy, dedicated to the ultrasound diagnosis and surgical treatment of endometriosis, further expanding her expertise in the comprehensive management of this condition. In her clinical practice, she combines advanced medical technologies with an individualized approach to each patient.

She is a co-author of two textbooks in the field of obstetrics and gynecology and the author of numerous publications in specialized Bulgarian and international scientific journals.
