Darko Simonov, MD graduated with full honors in medicine at the Medical Faculty – Trakia University Stara Zagora in 2009. In 2016 he acquired a specialty in cardiology. From 2016 to 2020 he was the head of the intensive cardiology sector at Hadzhi Dimitar Hospital in Sliven.
PhD student and assistant professor at the Medical Faculty – TrU – Stara Zagora, principal investigator of a number of clinical studies in the field of cardiology.

Member of the Society of Cardiologists in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Society of Interventional Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI).

Since 2020 he is part of the team of the ‘Heart and Brain’ Burgas.
