Dr. Yasen Todorov is an experienced specialist in general and abdominal surgery with many years of practice in Bulgaria and Germany. He graduated from the Medical University of Varna and began his specialization at the University Hospital “St. Marina” in Varna, as well as at the hospital in Tutrakan.

His professional background includes work in several prestigious German hospitals such as Bathildiskrankenhaus (Bad Pyrmont), Rotenburg Wümme, and Asklepios Klinik Hamburg. From 2015 to 2025, he was part of the team at Klinikum Fichtelgebirge – Marktredwitz, where he held the position of Leitender Oberarzt (Deputy Head of the Surgical Department).

Since September 2025, Dr. Todorov has been a member of the surgical team at Heart and Brain Hospital.

He has completed numerous specialized courses in minimally invasive and robotic surgery at leading centers in Germany, including Charité – Berlin and the University Hospital of Heidelberg, enabling him to apply the most advanced surgical techniques in his clinical practice.

Dr. Todorov is known for his precision, calm demeanor, and individualized approach to patient care. He is fluent in Bulgarian, German, English, and Russian.
