Irina Horot, MD graduated with honors in medicine from the Bogomolets National Medical University in Kiev, Ukraine, in 2006. She specializes in radiation therapy.

She has a specialization in radiation therapy. She specialized in brachytherapy at the Sana Clinic, Offenbach, Germany. In 2015, she defended her scientific dissertation in the field of radiobiology. In 2020, she obtained the scientific degree of associate professor.

She works as an associate professor in the Department of Radiology and Radiation Medicine at the Bogomolets National Medical University, as well as a radiation therapist at the Kiev Regional Oncology Dispensary, Kiev, Ukraine. In her practice, she applies modern methods of radiation therapy (brachytherapy) and develops new methods of fractionation in the treatment of skin cancer.
