Mihail Protich, MD completed his medical education in 2000 and obtained his specialty in cardiology in 2013. He underwent further qualification for expert level in electrophysiology in 2014, and in 2018 for cardiac device implantation and from 2020 expert level.

He manages the first EFI laboratory outside Sofia in “Trakia Hospital”, Sofia. Stara Zagora, from 2014 to 2016, and until December 2021, Dr. Protić is a cardiologist at the Clinic of Cardiology, “Invasive Electrophysiology and Electrocardiostimulation” sector at the University Hospital “St. Petersburg”. He is also a cardiothoracic endocardiologist at St. Anna Hospital – Sofia. Since December 2021, he has been in charge of the Department of Electrophysiology and Cardiac Pacing at Adjibadem City Clinic University Hospital Cardiovascular Center.

He is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Cardiology, the Society of Electrophysiology and Cardiac Pacing in Bulgaria, the European Society of Cardiology and the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA).

Since October 2023 he has been in charge of the Electrophysiology and Cardiac Pacing Unit at ‘Heart and Brain’ Burgas.
