Lilia Nikolova-Georgieva, MD graduated from the Medical University of Pleven in 2014. In 2015 she became a part of the team of the children’s ward at the “Dr. Stefan Cherkezov” Hospital, Sofia. She also works as a pediatrician in the emergency department, in the on-call room and in outpatient practice.

In 2018, she graduated with a Master’s degree in Health Management at the University of Transport “Sv. Cyril and Methodius”, Sofia. She graduated from St. Methodius and St. Methodius University in Veliko Tarnovo. During her training, Dr. Georgieva conducted a number of trainings in different areas of pediatrics. She is a member of the National Association “Breastfeeding Support” and is a breastfeeding consultant.

Since 2021, Dr. Georgieva has a recognized specialty in pediatrics and joined the team of , Heart and Brain’ gr. She is also a member of the Brain and Heart team. In 2023, she began specialization in Medical Genetics and became part of the team of the Medical Genetics Laboratory of ‘Heart and Brain’ Pleven. Dr. Georgieva’s professional and scientific interests are in the field of pediatric diseases and clinical genetics.
