Her story, however, ends with hope thanks to the fast response and professionalism of Dr. Stoyan Dimov, a young cardiologist and electrophysiologist at the high-tech hospital complex \u201cHeart and Brain\u201d \u2013 Burgas, a specialist in the treatment of rhythm and conduction disorders, who makes the decision for the immediate implantation of a pacemaker.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"846\">The woman presents with severe fatigue, dizziness, and two episodes of complete loss of consciousness. Initially, she passes through emergency units at two medical facilities with cardiology departments of the highest (third) level of competence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"848\" data-end=\"1088\">Despite the performed tests and the clear diagnosis \u2014 complete A-V block (a serious disorder of the heart\u2019s electrical conduction system, leading to bradycardia, fatigue, dizziness, and syncope), the patient is referred to another hospital.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1373\">Only upon admission to \u201cHeart and Brain\u201d \u2013 Burgas in the late hours of the holiday period does she receive adequate care from Dr. Dimov, who does not underestimate her symptoms. After a thorough examination and additional tests, a life-threatening heart rhythm disorder is confirmed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1375\" data-end=\"1680\">\u201cThis was a case where time was critical. There was no room for waiting,\u201d Dr. Dimov shares. On his recommendation, a decision is made for the immediate implantation of a permanent pacemaker. The procedure is performed successfully, and within the first hours afterward, the patient\u2019s condition stabilizes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1682\" data-end=\"1925\">Today, she is already back home and recovering. \u201cIf it weren\u2019t for Dr. Dimov, I don\u2019t know what would have happened. He reacted appropriately and in time,\u201d the woman says. One timely intervention and one correct decision can save a human life.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1927\" data-end=\"2282\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">This case clearly demonstrates the excellent organization and high level of medical expertise at \u201cHeart and Brain,\u201d where even during holidays 24\/7 readiness, highly specialized care, and modern treatment are ensured.
