On this occasion, <em data-start=\"198\" data-end=\"224\">\u201cHeart and Brain\u201d Pleven<\/em> and <em data-start=\"229\" data-end=\"255\">\u201cHeart and Brain\u201d Burgas<\/em> are once again organizing <strong data-start=\"282\" data-end=\"314\">free urological examinations<\/strong> aimed at preventing some of the most common male diseases \u2014 <strong data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"394\">prostate cancer<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"399\" data-end=\"420\">testicular cancer<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"421\" data-end=\"424\" \/>The examinations will take place from <strong data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"487\">November 10th to 14th<\/strong>, conducted by specialist urologists at both hospitals under the supervision of <strong data-start=\"567\" data-end=\"597\">Prof. Dr. Deyan Anakievski<\/strong>, according to a set schedule and with <strong data-start=\"636\" data-end=\"657\">prior appointment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"929\">Patients are required to bring <strong data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"713\">blood test results<\/strong> for the tumor marker <strong data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"787\">PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen \u2013 total and free)<\/strong>, which can be done <strong data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"825\">free of charge<\/strong> at the hospitals\u2019 clinical laboratories between <strong data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"897\">7:30 and 10:30 a.m.<\/strong> on the day of the consultation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1454\">The <strong data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"986\">Clinical Laboratory at \u201cHeart and Brain\u201d Pleven<\/strong> is once again joining the Movember campaign.<br data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1034\" \/>Dr. <strong data-start=\"1038\" data-end=\"1056\">Natalia Kitova<\/strong>, head of the laboratory, reminds that <strong data-start=\"1095\" data-end=\"1154\">laboratory testing is the first and most important step<\/strong> in the early detection of this disease.<br data-start=\"1194\" data-end=\"1197\" \/>The main test for early diagnosis \u2014 <strong data-start=\"1233\" data-end=\"1240\">PSA<\/strong> \u2014 measures the level of a specific protein produced by the prostate. Elevated PSA levels may indicate a <strong data-start=\"1345\" data-end=\"1384\">malignant process (prostate cancer)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1386\" data-end=\"1418\">benign prostatic hyperplasia<\/strong>, or <strong data-start=\"1423\" data-end=\"1453\">inflammation (prostatitis)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1461\" data-end=\"1509\"><em>The specialists at \u201cHeart and Brain\u201d advise:<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1511\" data-end=\"1544\"><strong>Why should you get examined?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1749\">\n<li data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1671\">Because <strong data-start=\"1555\" data-end=\"1591\">prevention is the best treatment<\/strong>.
