Dr. Yavor Kirilov graduated from the Medical University of Varna in 2012 and continued his professional development in Germany, where he specialized in general, abdominal surgery, and proctology. He has worked and refined his skills in several leading clinics, including Asklepios Klinikum Goslar, Knappschaft Kliniken Dortmund, as well as hospitals in Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Münster.

Since September 2025, Dr. Kirilov has been part of the Department of Surgery at “Heart and Brain” Hospital – Burgas, where he applies the most advanced techniques in minimally invasive surgery.

He possesses extensive practical experience in laparoscopic and conventional surgery, oncological surgery, and the treatment of rectal diseases. He is certified as an expert in the treatment of acute and chronic wounds and holds additional qualifications in ultrasound diagnostics and blood transfusion.

Dr. Kirilov is a member of the German Society for General and Abdominal Surgery (DGAV), the German Professional Association of Surgeons (BDC), and the Bulgarian Medical Association. In his medical practice, he is known for his precision, attentive care, and individualized approach to each patient.
