Plamen Simeonov, MD graduated from the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov” in Varna in 2004. During three years he worked in the field of emergency and urgent care. In 2008 he became part of the team of the Clinic of Neurosurgery at the MMA – Sofia, and in the period 2009 – 2014 he acquired a specialty in neurosurgery.

In 2016 he became the head of the second neurosurgery department at the Neurosurgery Clinic at the MMA – Sofia. Between 2017 – 2021 he worked at the neurosurgery clinic of Ajibadem City Clinic, Tokuda University Hospital Sofia.

Dr. Plamen Simeonov has undergone specialized courses and trainings in the field of cranial and spinal neurosurgery in Norway, the Netherlands, Turkey and Bulgaria. He has participated in Bulgarian and international forums, symposia and publications, as well as in the activities of the Bulgarian Society of Neurosurgery.

Since January 2022 he has been part of the team of the Heart and Brain Center of Excellence in Burgas.
