Nyagol Balev, MD graduated from the Medical College of the University ,,Prof. Asen Zlatarov” in Burgas with a specialty of “Rehabilitation” in 2004. In 2011 he graduated from the Medical University in Pleven. The same year he started working as a resident doctor at the emergency department of the Burgas Hospital.

After specializing at the Burgas Hospital and then at the Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda Hospital in Sofia, he obtained a specialty in neurosurgery in 2019.

He is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Neurosurgery and holds a certificate from the MMA Sofia for ,,Current trends in the surgical treatment of brain aneurysms”.

He is fluent in English, Russian and German.
