Nikolay Nedev, MD is Head of the Neurosurgery department in Heart and Brain Burgas. He graduated with honors from the Medical Academy in Sofia in 1981 and in acquired a specialty in neurosurgery in 1988. Since 1983 he has been working in the Burgas Emergency Service and in the neurosurgical department at the Burgas University Hospital, where he was successively resident, senior doctor, and since 2000 – head of the Neurology department.

He has completed a number of specialized courses in spinal and cranial neurosurgery in Bulgaria, Israel and Austria.

Since the beginning of 2022 he has been part of the team of the Heart and Brain Center of Excellence in Burgas.
